About Dr. Rachel Benson

Dr. Rachel was born and raised in Austin. She went to Texas A&M for her bachelors and onto Southern California University of Health Sciences where she graduated in 2015 with her doctorate.

She played lacrosse in high school at Westlake and continued onto the collegiate level as a 4 year starter at Texas A&M.

She has taken her passion for sports and made it into her career. Her goal is to help every single patient feel like they are achieving at optimal performance. "From the elite athlete to the weekend warrior to the on the go mom, no one deserves to be in pain. I look to find the root of the problem. If you're only seeking to get rid of the immediate pain, often times the cause of the pain is not addressed and the pain will return. Pain free daily life is not only achievable, but its my priority for all of my patients."

The techniques that Dr. Rachel utilizes help to heal not only recent injuries, but also to rehab from chronic pain and prevent future injuries.

Dr. Rachel also coaches Vandegrift JV Lacrosse for the past two seasons, including winning the district championships last season. In her spare time she enjoys lifting, running outside and learning everything she can.
